Question 757/767 - where are the bits from?

As we all know the manufacture of modern aircraft is a truly global industry. The forthcoming B7E7 is due to have at least 45% Japanese made parts (along with other countries involvement this potentially will make the A380 more "US-made" than the 7E7!).

Anyway my question is (and I hope this is the right forum for it) can you tell me where some of the major parts of the 757/767 are made before going to Seattle / Renton for assembly?

I looked on the Boeing website and found very little information about this.

Major components really like the Wings, Tail, etc... but be as detailed as you like (Gear Doors, etc!!).

I'll start off with what precious little I know:

- the RR-equipped birds have engines made in Derby, UK

Please add to the list as much as you can.

I can tell you the toilet modules come from the Yokohama Rubber Company!

Seats!

Bein flyin B767 for 10 yrs now and for sure they can use an Airbus seat in the cockpit...
Or is it that Uncle B makes them so uncomfortable to keep us awake?! Airbus does not have this problem I guess...

No - the really uncomfortable seats in an Airbus are those Recaro things in the back of a LH 319/320/321! Their old A300-600s had much, much more comfortable 'old fashioned' arline seats!

From my A330 experience of all of 10 minutes, I'd say that the pilots' seats are extremely good!
