Looks to me like Burt Rutan has nailed the X-prize!

This a space ready system. I don't think any other contender is any where near this level of readiness.
I saw Burt lecture at Osh Kosh in '96. He was deadly serious about space being his next goal.
I'd be suprised if he isn't at the required 100km above the planet within twelve months.
