Angry Kapton wiring in Scarebuses

I was wondering if anyone knew if Airbus were STILL using Kapton wiring. I know that they said they would after all of the testing the US military did, and Boeing do not use it anymore. Surely they have woken up and smelt the smoke. With the new A380 coming along, hopefully they have changed their tune.

Appreciate any info

Exclamation

To this day, Kapton wiring is still being used in Airbus. They have to be absolutely certain that no evidence is left behind for the investigatory authorities to find after a crash, so the blame can be pinned on the Pilot's. It burns hot and fast along with the Microprocessor's...hualla only ashes.

I was of the understanding that Airbus does not use Kapton wiring, I was of the understanding that Boeing/McD/Canadair/Lockheed did at some stage.

Do you have a source which states that Airbus uses Kapton wiring, I would be very interested in an authoritive update...

I would like to educated to update my understanding either way...
