Talking Slightly Silly Question

I am asking this on behalf of a friend (Yes, we all say that!). Should this need to move off into Jet Blast - just say so!

1) Friend is avid fan of the TV show '24'. I have not seen it.

2) Hero has to travel from LA in small exec jet for a maximum of 20 mins (Wheels to Wheels).

3) It is an FBI trip (natch! ) so presume priority access to air corridors etc.

No, I do not know what exec jet they have only but four large pax seats. I would presume that on a short hop, it is acceleration that counts?

What soft of mileage might they achieve in that time? 100 land miles?

Many thanks for this non-urgent and light hearted question.

Light hearted answer...

Used to operate an HFB320 HansaJet in scheduled (yes scheduled) service SBA-BUR-PSP. Other than the fact that the stick-pusher activating at 200agl on takeoff (one time was enough excitment for one day), a generally nice route.
SBA-BUR was 25 minutes, distance 94nm....hope this helps.

Yes indeed, 411A!

94nm shows as being 108.17 miles (international) in my conversion software. So my guess was a little under.

I was trying to find the distance of HNL to LIH as that was 20 mins in a 732! Otherwise, my shortest commercial sector was 11 mins into Edinburgh from Dundee in a Saab 340, but that no longer operates, I think.

Thanks for your time.
