What type of FMS in...?

What type of FMS in...?

Can nayone help - what make and model of FMS do BA use in B777 and also what's in the ex CFE RJ100's

777 FMC are not standalone items. The FMC is powered by one of the boxs in the AIMS cabinets. This box has multiple functions apart from FMC management. I think Honeywell produle the modules in the AIMS cabinets. I probably haven't explained this very well, but it's unlike other aircraft eg. 767 which have a dedicated FMC box in the racks.

Half the BA RJ100's have GNS-X which is old and basic and the two units don't talk to each other unless "crossfilled" which I think is a bit wrong.

The newer RJ100's have a Honeywell GNLU which is very good, a proper FMS, although we can't use most of its functions! But it flys awaresome holds, anticipates turns etc.
