RAIM vs AIME

Would appreciate any feedback from anyone using/flying GPS approaches using RAIM and others using AIME integrity monitoring.

I'm especially interested in the pre-flight/in-flight/pre-approach procedures and workload involved from a flight crew's point of view.

Question

320DRIVER,

I am very familiar with GPSNPA in the Australian environment where we use preflight predictions of RAIM available from AirServices Australia, our ATS provider as well as the inflight predictions automatically available from the receiver. However, I am not familiar with the acronym AIME or the processes involved.

Could you please summarise the differences?
