CAT II holding points

There seems to be a difference between the markings for CAT 2 holding positions in Europe and the USA? As far as I can see what in Europe are considered to be CAT 2 holds are normal ILS holds in the States. Is this correct?

In North America the normal 'hold' is 200' from the edge of the runway. With the advent of Cat2,signage extended further from the runway enviroment for sterility....

In the USA we have ILS hold lines. There are no special markings for CAT II. In CAT II ops, the ILS hold lines are used.

Some airports have "non movement" areas during CAT II/III, but they are by lighted signs, not painted on the taxiways.
