INS questions

- what flight instruments take information from the INS ?

I suppose it would depend on the aircraft in question, but the 747(Classic) INS's feed data to....

Weather Radar
Autopilot/Autothrottle
Yaw Damper
Magnetic Heading Reference System
LRCU's
Overrotation Warning Computer
EGPWS

The ADI's get their pitch/roll date from the INS's.
The HSI's get their compass info from the IRS's via the Mag Heading Ref systems. XTK, TK, TKE, DA, Distance+Time is also provided to the HSI's by the INS's.
INS pitch and roll data is transmitted to the Enhanced GPWS (where fitted).
Weather Radar antenna stabilization requires INS data.
