Question A-320 IR disagree

To all Busdrivers,

I have a technical question regarding the IR disagree ECAM message on the A-320:

-When does this message actually appears on the ECAM?

According AOM it appears when there is a disagreement between two IRs, the third one having failed or been rejected by the ELAC. The first Item on the ECAM procedure is to X-Check ATT and determine the faulty IR. What I do not understand, is that if there is a discrpancy between two remaining IR the ATT DISCREPANCY ECAM procedure should warn the pilot also. What ECAM message does actually appear in case of an IR disagree?

Thanx in advance
Best Regards

PFD

Hey Silky,

first of all thany a lot for your answer. I looked in the AOM VOL 1 (EIS) and tried to find the "Check ATT" legend on the PFD you mentioned, but I could not find any hint. I will try to forward this question to our technical department. If I get an answer I will post as soon as posssible.

Thanx again
