data plate smith aerospace
Hello everyone,
I found this genuine Smiths Aerospace / Airbus data plate in a field in Tyrol, Austria, at an elevation of about 1,000 meters (3,280 ft).
The plate reads:
The interesting part is that I only found the plate itself, not the aircraft part. It was lying on a regularly used agricultural field in the Austrian Alps.

- the exact aircraft type (A319/A320/A321/A330/A340?)
- the exact system or location on the aircraft?
- whether the part number can be linked to a specific Airbus program?

If you didn't find the cover where did the two photos of the cover come from?
The identity plate, despite having two fastener holes was almost certainly stuck on. It probably just fell off mid flight.. You can see were the plate used to be stuck on in the picture of the inside of the cover.
