Question 787 asymmetrical LDG tilt

Hello to all,

i recently watched a stream seeing a 787 landing with the LDG boogies tilted asymmetrical. I'm not rated onto the 787 but i assume this is due to some kind of actuator issues or is there any other reasons why this could happen? Apparently, this is quite a "common" occurrence as there are some videos around on the internet but not really a explanation.

Perhaps someone here can shed some light on this?

Thanks and Happy new Year
Michael

Saudi Airlines Boeing 787-10 Strange Gear Tilt Issue!! - YouTube

We had this once, a bunch of notes in the tech log about landing gear that we duly searched up and checked the operational notes for. Neither of us realised, nor was it written in the MEL, that one would not hang and this is how it would look from the outside. I later queried with an engineer and Boeing don't write it as it is not deemed relevant for the flight crew to know. I only noticed that was how it looked when I happened to see our landing on YouTube a few hours later.

Pretty sure It will be a tech issue.
The truck tilt actuators are supposed to schedule the L/G position for retraction into the gear bay.
On extension they reposition the tilt for landing. I think. It's been a while. I've never seen this defect on our fleet.

Life must be pretty boring for a MLG, it's understandable that they like a boogie occasionally.

That could be a SLG issue, and need to be replace ASAP, it can cause the MLG could not be retract.
