737 Aileron Trim Check
A carrier has it's 737NG/MAX CA pre-flight flow to check the aileron trim for freedom of movement without hydraulics on.
I understand that the trim is electrically operated, but the yoke doesn't follow much (if at all) without the PCUs working.
I believe the FCOM would have at least the B Electric pump on, but he company's manual doesn't have that requirement.
Question: Can the aileron trim be checked correctly without hydraulic pressure?

Yes, even though the aileron trim is powered by the AC transfer bus but from experience you need some time for the system to be fully energized by the hydraulic to see some movement of the control column.
Hope it helps.
