Eng2 fail ecam one engine taxi -a320
Hello,
My company favors one engine taxi IN and OUT whenever possible, and it is a daily routine. Just the other day on an A320 PW engine aircraft(the older NEOs without dual cooling option) while performing a one engine taxi IN (After landing), As ENG 2 master switch was cycled to OFF position ENG 2 FAIL ECAM appeared. However, the ECAM unlike FCOM description for ENG 2 fail on Takeoff or ground, the ECAM started from "IF DAMAGE" . What could be the reason ? the runway/taxiway was wet , could it have been due to RA reading being interfered due contamination of the taxiway? Once parked, FMGC last ECAM report didn't capture any fault, but on pressing the RECALL , the ECAM was present but this time, the message started from "ENG MODE SEL-IGN".

I have had the ENG FAIL pop up as an ECAM when fiddling with the engine master for too long during engine shut down, the switch getting stuck and being juggled back and forth.

Me too, when I was an F/O I had that happen a couple times both on the V2500 and on the PW1100G when I wasn't forceful enough with the switch.
