Starting while rolling

Assume both engines fail on takeoff. Make it past V1. What does the panel show, and what does PF, PM do? Nothing? Let EEC restart? What does the aircraft do, starters won't work, igniters? The RAT can't spin starters. The APU could be thirty seconds away...

What can you do on a single engine ac if the engine fails? Stop, no matter what you do you won’t be able to get it airborne and do anything useful with the ac, so the slower you go out of the runway, the least damage your aircraft and passengers will receive.

Of course.... Now, consider. You have rotated, and just passed the runway's end at 35'....

The RAT has deployed, and there is some thrust in #1 one mile to buildings, no way out. Might you try to climb?

What is point here? Without thrust, the plane will crash. Nothing more to say. With “some thrust”, maybe fly level long enough to crash in a better location. You wouldn’t try to climb because physics says you can’t.

Point being, with some thrust, would you maximize what lift there is for a best glide? Staying with the restart checklist? Do the main batteries on 787 have ability to turn the shaft? Is there any method to rush the spool up. If #2 starting screaming, would you Pitch up. If a crash landing, wouldn't you shut off fuel at the last?
Oddly enough, the FCOS on AI171 were both. RUN

You go off the end of the runway, what do you expect it would do?
What an absolutely ridiculous question to begin with.

How about another and a ridiculous statement. From the CCTV I saw. Yaw right. I also don't believe there was a Flare. It looked more like NoseUp, responding to power....just an opinion....the engines quit on the runway, how else can the RAT be explained...and the Switches being cycled....

I think I am with GF here. The discussion, as it is going, probably has some value but would be better located in another forum. Not something I do often, or lightly, but, on this occasion, I will lock the thread and invite those participants who might be interested in continuing, to start it up again in a more appropriate forum. Thanks for your indulging me, folks.
