SETO discussion
I was looking forward to reading more discussion on SETO today but I cannot find the thread that was running on Tech Log a few hours ago.
Is it the case that the starter of the thread can delete it if they choose or was the thread removed by the moderators?
Cheers,
Framer

I note that the original thread has had some tender attention from my colleagues and, seeing naught remaining which ought to elicit outrage, I have brought it back to Tech Log.

I should have offered a comment to this question before. Unless things have changed along the way, please do be careful with any threads that you have started. Should you delete your first post, the thread goes out the window with your deleted post.

Yes the moderators job ain't easy I bet. I could curse them at times. However it must be a thankless task!!
I fail to see anything on that thread, that could any serious concerns. Shame they didn't air their concerns in public. We are all here too learn!
If it is of interest, the old discussion can be dragged up, by going to your profile, statiestics, your posts ......

As the author of the thread, I can confirm that I did not make any interference to the thread.
Unfortunately, from what I have seen (although I have been flying the past few days), the thread contained some toxicity and was rightly moderated.
Big thanks to the moderators on this forum!
