747-8 Start Valve Positions
Going through the starting procedures on the GEnx - curious to know about the start valves position relative to the start switch. For a normal (auto) start, after all is done the start valve will close and the start switch retract.
But abnormal/failed starts - we know the start switch doesn't retract automatically. But does the start valve closes by itself? The assumption is yes, as the EEC stops the start altogether
