Paperless cockpit
Hey everyone!
Question for those of you flying for airlines that have gone fully paperless in the cockpit, anyone here working with a setup like that? We’ve got EFBs on our aircrafts that cover our manuals, charts, and OPT. Right now, my company’s in the process of switching our Lido OFP to the Lido app on our company iPads.
I’m curious if other airlines are doing the same thing and if it’s really helping with pilot workload, safety, and all that. Also, what does your SOP say about the requirements for that, e.g, like the iPad’s hardware conditions or minimum battery charge requirements? Appreciate any insights!
