PCN / ACN Cassification
Hey Guys.
Can someone explain how come on a runway with a PCN of 51, the max operating weight for the 747-400ERF is less than the 747-400F version where in reality the ERF has a higher max ramp weight and takeoff weight than the F version?51/R/A/W/T
ERF = 364,180Kg
F = 384,504kg

First, max weights of the airframe do not influence the runway. My guess is the ERR has a higher tire pressure than the F. Surface and sub grade also factor in—rigid, high CBR of the subgrade here.

There will be much data in the FAA ACs for airports.
Also, you may find some useful stuff in PPRuNe threads containing posts by our now sadly departed gentle giant of a civil engineer airports design SME, Steve Emery (Overrun).
