Hi all,
Up till the beginning of this year there used to be a very useful app for both iOS and androids called CTOT. By registering with company email we could get access to the various slots time for the flights. This has been lately scraped for different reasons and as of today we do only have “official” company provided (though company iPads mainly) data to check on the evolution of the slots. Said app was quite useful as we’d get instant notifications on mobiles/smart watches on any slot changes and could hence proceed accordingly.
The question is: as of today is there anything similar to this app? Is there any chance that we could eventually get it back?
It has proven to be very useful on many occasions whilst being busy doing other things and getting a pop up of a slot cancellation was a great way to optimize workload.

Blame Eurocontrol for that. My operator is currently developing a in-house solution and we can have a beta version running on our personal devices. I think they are also trying to get Aerobrief FS on our EFB with an agreement with Eurocontrol. How that would work I don't know, but I hope it will happen.

It was thanks to Ryanair that forced Aerobrief FS to shut down, after the airline put pressure on eurocontrol about the fact that the data was publically available. As the airline was getting evidence sent back to them from passengers claiming EU261 when they could prove no ctot existed.

It was several airlines. Some complained about the data being available to the public, others didn't like their flight plan data being easily accessible by their competitors, All in all apparently enough to restrict access to that kind of data. That said, can't be really all that hard to provide the information to the flight crews?
We usually get the Eurocontrol slot message routet directly to the flight deck printer, which makes it quite accessible to us. And the Eurocontrol website is still open where you can see flow measures across the ECAC space on a sector basis if you really want to see more.
