TO/GA buttons both inop. B737 NG

Hi

just looking for inputs and considerations.

- How would you fly a lnav departure straight ahead with toga buttons inop.

(No vnav, lnav armed, f/d on, acc alt 800 agl, a/t on)

From: IRS NAV ONLY
Set thrust manually, fly raw data until 400ft, engage LVL CHG (and LNAV, if required), bug up at 800ft or engage VNAV.

I agree with the above.

Back in the day you used to have to set manual N1.
Pitch 15 deg and by the time your airspeed stabilizes (400ft), you have Mr Automation available again (LNAV/VNAV).

Who here remembers how many secs pass between each swipe on INT setting for the wipers?
