737 MAX Pitch Control Changes?

Just wondering if anyone else finds the 737 MAX 8 sluggish in pitch? I was back flying the -800 after a few weeks on the MAX 8 and I had forgotten how much more responsive it is.

Have any design changes been made to the flight controls in pitch-elevator feel etc.?

Honestly I hadn't noticed any difference. The only real pitch difference I feel is during flap retraction after Flaps 25 takeoffs. The 800 seems to want to pitch down more, whereas the Max doesn't. That's probably more related to the engine placement than the elevators, but it's still an improvement to me!
