EDTO
Hai Guys,
Period of ValidityFor each EDTO en-route alternate airport, the Dispatch Weather Minima must be ensured within a certain period. This period starts one hour before the earliest ETA at this airport and ends one hour after the latest ETA. The following example will explain the usage of period of validity.
Start time at X
Departure time + EET to EEP X + Diversion EET (one engine cruise from EEP DPS to X) – One Hour.
End time at X
Departure time + EET to ETP1 + Diversion EET (one engine cruise from ETP1 to X) + one hour.
Start time at Y:
Departure time + EET to ETP1 + Diversion EET (one engine cruise from ETP1 to Y) – one hour.
End time at Y
Departure time + EET to EXP Y + Diversion EET (one engine cruise from EXP Y to Y) + one hour
how to elaborate this and give me some examples pls. Thank you

In our operation the +/-1hr is only applied to the destination forecast. For Enroute EDTO alternates the forecast weather is for the period from the earliest to latest expected time of use based on the scheduled departure time of the flight. Time of use then adjusted for later than planned departures.
