Hi Guys n Gals
Iam A New Airbus driver. Require inputs on IDLE FACTOR for a better explanation and understanding of it from that cryptic explanation in the FCOM. Do any of your company use it in line flying. If so whats the procedure.

i went through the string. thanks for the explanation. However when i browsed through some time ago - someone had said that they used this function in line flying and they were given a list with aircraft tail no and idle factor. Any info on that.
Also a new function in the neo is the Descent Performance Optimization a new FMGS function. Whats the difference between the two
