Compressor blade identification.
Hello everyone,
Have been an avid reader of the forums for years but this is my first post in a long time.
I've been lucky enough to have just been gifted an engine compressor blade by a family friend after a bereavement. They knew I was a big aviation fan and decided it would be in good hands with me.
I've been told the blade probably came from a Concorde engine and have had a rummage around online trying to find pictures of a similar blade with limited success. Does anyone on here know a way I can use the serial number at the blade's mounting to identify which engine it came from?
Many thanks
P.S. The blade has the numbers BB5291 55D 478 HGY29.
