Downgrade training advice
Unfortunately many pilots at our outfit are being downgraded from left to right seat, many in the same type.
Does anybody have any experience with this from a trainer point of view? It’s a sheite sandwich for sure. How does one approach this both professionally and with empathy? I’m not asking about the technical but the mental aspect. For those of you who went through downgrade training what helped you get through it?
A lot of us would just gut it out and do our job. I did when it happened to me after 9-11. I imagine however, some will not and those are the ones I have to figure out how to reach.
