What electrical source powers LGCIU1?

A320.

I thought LGCIU1 was powered by the DC ESS BUS but the Abnormal and Emergency Procedures does not list LGCIU1 under the Inop Sys for a DC ESS BUS Fault. In the event of a DC BUS 2 fault you lose LGCIU2 and if you have both these faults at the same time a gravity gear extension is required, presumably because of the loss of both LGCIUs, implying the DC ESS is the source powering LGCIU1, I don’t imagine it being on the SHED. Can anyone confirm this, it’s a shame the old FCOM 1-4 used to list quite clearly and I don’t have a copy.

Thanks,

I see the DC GND/FLT supply from TR2 but the list of loads that can be energized does not include LGCIU1. Do you have a reference I can follow up?

I see LGCIU1 is available in EMER ELEC so that seems logical that DC ESS Is powering it via ESS TR when TR2 is not available. I cannot find any description of this in the FCOM though. Very frustrating.

Can anyone post a list of kit powered by the DC FLT BUS, I’m interested to know how a DC FLT BUS Fault would present itself on ECAM because it sounds like a minefield to diagnose.

Yes please, my FCOM stops at 32-10-40

I'm intrigued now, what’s in 32-10-50?!

I'm not qualified anymore on the A320 and have no FCOM available.
We have a genius at our airline creating wonderful summaries. Maybe this graphic helps....

From the 2008 edition. Those are now moved to ABN, at the beginning of each individual warning / procedure.
