B737 MAX Sim
Does anyone know how many Boeing 737 max simulators there are currently in operation? How about the name location of the simulator facilities for 737 max?

What's difference between a max training simulator (if-when they exist) and a late model 737 simulator?
Is there a way to synthesize the training using a a non-max simulator?
wasn't the initial plan to just have the pilots read a powerpoint presentation?

FlyingStone, a problem with being sure, is not being so if you are not so sure.
Boeing have an engineering simulator for tests, etc. They may have a full training simulator, but this is unlikely to be approved without first having a certificated modified aircraft against which to validate the simulation.
The next question is to consider if the FAA or any other authority will approve a training simulator based on pre certification data and possibly their evaluation pilots' experience.

This news article mentions 34 operational simulators. Some of them are airline owned so I presume they will be giving priority to training their own crews before renting out slots to other airlines. I’m sorry I couldn’t find anything about the location of the simulators but few airlines are mentioned in the article so their locations can be guessed.
Cheers

Air Canada has two MAX-8 simulators.
Not sure which carriers have em in the US though (American?)
This is all moot until new software and MCAS simulation is developed for the sim though...which I'm not sure it has.

"Boeing stated there are 36 MAX sims in service. To date, airlines have purchased 56 MAX sims from CAE and 22 have been delivered."
(from CAE's quarterly report on Feb 7)
I think Textron makes the rest.
