A320 ELEC EMER REVERSERS

Thanks in advance....

Even in ELEC EMER, the LGCIU sends FLIGHT GROUND awareness.

The SECs remain powered so REV TLA is sent to the FADEC - I think this exists - as in EMER ELEC the engine will accelerate to reverse idle.

The EIU and FADEC remain powered so signals can be sent to the isolation valves

Could someone please be kind enough to tell me, given all the kit involved in deployment remains powered, what is stopping the reverser deployment?

I'm guessing that since all the reverser controlling computers live on one busbar in ELEC EMER, a further failure could result in an unsafe reverser position so there's some logic somewhere that prevents the SECs from signalling the hydraulic shut off valve to open....but hey, I'm whistling in the dark...can someone please kindly put the lights on.

Edited - more likely, it’s that as the busbars with the controlling computers are shed below 100 knots it’s better not to have the reversers deployed in the first place - would still be good to know which “thingummyjig” takes that decision....

Thanks!
