Airbus 320 ACP
Hi,
During recent weeks I have noted the following, and I am looking for an explanation if some one is able to provide:
Recently I have been starting to wear the headset on throughout the flight instead of the speaker.
I have however noted that, whenever my colleague changes the volume on his ACP, it also affects the volume coming in my headsets, if ever so slightly.
This has been observed in a multitude of our fleet.
Is there someone else with a similar experience?

Can't say I've noticed it, but maybe because most of the people who don't use a headset have the speaker turned up to 11, and so I can usually hear ATC clearly enough from the opposite side speaker, with my headset on. That should tell you how "quiet" the cockpit is.

Only half a speed-brake
Yes. The cockpit of A32o is so quiet, the opposite side speaker is clearly distinguishable even if your own headset is on with ANR active.
The only time (a couple of) when I needed to lean over without a headset to hear the colleague was if he puts the boom on, closes his speaker completely, turns up his INT ACP all the way up and whispers silently into the mic stuck under his nose. An unhelpful habit that was.
Could not imagine wearing something on top of my skull on a 10 hour day. but then again I enjoy A/THR on to keep the nights easy, so not really a pilot at all.
