B747 takeoff distance
Hi everyone,
Since I don’t have a B-747 performance manual, can anyone Tell me what Would be te takeoff distance for a flap 10º and 20º setting please?
Airport elevation ...2,100 Ft
Temp......................15ºc
Altimeter ..............30.20
Wind.......................calm
Runway grad..........0%
Runway dry
TOW......................300,000 Kg
TOGA

Thanks so much Duffo,
How about the Takeoff run from runway 30? In other words, as you well know, the distance from brakes off until main wheels leave the ground? I bet that you may get about 200-300ft less ground distance if using flaps 20. That is my guess.

Once again, thank you very much! You can’t imagine how long I was waiting for this response.
My suspicios were correct...with flaps 20, the ground run is 347 ft shorter than using flaps 10.

If I understand correctly, the GCXO (Los Rodeos airport) has an elevation of 633 m , 2077 ft. Correct me If I’m wrong.
