What is a single beam landing gear

From an article about a light sport aircraft......"Other CTLS features that transitioned to the CT Super Sport include the winglets, a composite single-beam landing gear, and the horizontal stabilizer and trim tab."

Composite single beam landing gear

A guess:

The wheel spindles are rigidly fixed to the ends of a single-leaf leaf spring--the "single-beam." The center of the spring is mounted to the fuselage structure. The spring material is something like a carbon-fiber/epoxy composite.

(At least one common high-wing light plane has this arrangement with a steel leaf. It seems like a neat but heavy solution. Composite material would be lighter and allow stiffness tuning by ply orientation.)
