A 320 Weather Radar

In the A320 sometimes the Tilt displays on both the NDs are different even though the Weather Radar is only one. Can someone explain the reason?

From the FCOM..

“When two different ranges are selected on CAPT and F/O ND, the radar scans alternatively at two different tilt settings. Each of these tilt setting is optimized for the selected range. This alternate scanning reduces the refresh rate of each ND image.”

I would suggest that depends on the kind of kit fitted. Airbus offers quite a few different WX Radar installations, including those that support different angles for both sides.
