smell of socks in flight

I found this article online, does anyone know how we stand in this matter?

Accident: Spirit A319 at Boston on Jul 17th 2015, fumes on board, captain died 50 days later

Just to mention that OrganoPhosphates have been banned in the farming industry, where they had been used in Sheep-Dip several years ago.
Even a short exposure to these chemicals can cause severe neurological disorders.

OPs are not banned for sheep dips in the UK, in fact the HSE offers specific advice on their safe use: Advice for farmers and others involved in dipping sheep
