A 330 NWS DEACTIVATION

When L/G is extended manually, even Green hydraulic is available, NWS is inop.
Just question about the reason, which one of the below is correct?

#1 Green Hydraulic for Nose wheel door actuator is shut at alternate extension sequence; same line feeds NWS, therefore NWS becomes inop
or
#2 Nose Wheel Door remains open and this prevents Nose Wheel Steering actuators movement, therefore NWS is deactivated.

Any idea or better explanation please

From looking in the AMM no.1 looks like the right answer there.
