@uplinker: quite so. MAGENTA = a variable being transferred from another autonomous source. CYAN = pilot selected and de-selectable. More clearly visible in OIS/LPC NG when receiving values from data-bus. For the case of A320 not really relevant, it becomes a chicken/egg issue here.
