A320 Engine Fail CB reset
In the FCTM of A320 in the part dealing with Final Takeoff Segment it is mentioned as follows:" When the STATUS is displayed, the After Takeoff checklist should be completed and both computer reset and engine relight (if no damage) considered.
Can someone please explain what computer reset is it talking about? Thanks.

Quote from FCTM:
Once established on the final takeoff flight path, continue the ECAM (consider OEB, if applicable). When the STATUS is displayed, the AFTER TAKEOFF/CLIMB checklist should be completed and both the computer reset and engine relight (if no damage) considered. STATUS should then be reviewed.
Just the magic words on STS pg being displayed: STBY STS, Normal C/L? C/B Reset/ Oeb/ Paper C/L?
Certainly none applies for eng fail exc the relight proc, if no damage (as fas as I can imagine).
Correct me if I am wrong,
Thanks!

It is a generic ECAM sequence. When you do ANY ECAM, when you reach STS page, Airbus says it is time to perform any of the following if required:
- normal checklist (eg. "after t/o")
- computer reset
- engine relight
THEN continue Status.
No computer resets for engine failure, that I have heard of...

Agree with S&R (although I suppose technically the engine master switch off-then-on is a reset).
There is a section in the QRH of allowable computer resets. These are the only CB's that should ever be pulled by pilots, and some of those CB's should not be pulled in flight, but the QRH tells you all this.

ENG MASTER movement from ON to OFF ... resets both channels of the FADEC.
FADEC has hardwired reset circuit per channel so that action is taken whilst the dedicated electrical generator is still 'on-line'.
