Fleet swap

Anybody recently done a 777/787 to A330/340 fleet swap?

Wondered if anyone could give some advice, pointers for it. Never flown a bus before, and am slightly nervous going from the traditional yoke to the sidestick.

Thoughts Gents?

The side stick took me about half a SIM session to get used to. You'll like it.

Welcome to the Airbus!
Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

Don't worry, you'll enjoy it.

Getting on to Airbus is very easy but out of airbus after a long time on to a conventional one you will have to start all over again.
