But its an old trick. Check out the living legend that is Bob Hoover, now aged 94, pouring tea with one hand whilst barrel rolling a
large piston twin with the other. Classic stuff.

Pouring ice tea

Then for good measure some aeros with two engines, then one, then none.

Engine out aeros

Beat me too it, Max: but I just had a non-dry eye moment watching his video again; and others black & whites from old colleagues paying tribute to the WGFP.

Many have been asking about the assessment program for Mumbo Jumbo airlines. Shame that all of it is mostly straight & level. When asked, why not show them this video, as a joke, and tell them they have to go and practice.

Which reminds me of the story of a guy with a guitar on his back hunting within the maze of Manhattan. He stopped a pedestrian and asked, "how do you get to Carnegie Hall?" The quick as a flash reply was, "you gotta practice son, gotta practice."

Tex Johnston did something similar in a B707 in 1955.

Concorde was rolled multiple times by her test pilots, including Jean Franchi and Brian Walpole.
