Reading the QRH B777, following an engine problem you can use to land flaps 30 (if performance allows). Are these performance relative to a possible go-around?

Yes, you can land Flap 30 if no missed approach terrain issues. Flap 20 becomes a habit in the sim and pilots don't think about the implications enough. If below MLW, short or wet runway, and no terrain issues, why not consider Flap 30.
