AGB Change - Engine Run

CFM 56 AGB change due metal on chip detector.

How long (approx. run time) should engine run be afterwards?

You will find gearbox replacement procedure in MM 72-00-06 and run procedure afterwards in MM 71-00-00 adj/test. Not familiar with CFM56 but doubt if there is any time given - it will basically be a function test of everything on the gearbox plus leak check. At a guess 20 mins or so. It will probably require 2 starts - IDG will require disconnect and run after reconnect.

Gents, thanks for the input.

I did not personally change the gearbox - just looking for 'general info' (thanks BC!).

As it turns out, not the gearbox...... run was 'clean'.
