A320 with sharklets

Just flew a brand new A320 with sharklets, was just delivered to Virgin, and this was the first flight (according to the drivers) BTW, it was from LAX to SJC at 1255 and there were 10 pax..
Its a beautiful wing...

Interesting wing for sure...(no vortex tabs!)

What are the flaps settings again?

Try flying it at night. The strobes drive you batty.

1+F=10, 2=15, 3=20 and full=35 degrees of flap

AB used to mark the wing with F+1,2,3...(safelife, flap settings varied a bit with engines, IAE equipped 3 was 40 degrees)

In the A320 with sharklets, is it still F1,2,3 (or changing to degrees) in the flightdeck?

And lets hope they retrofit the older ones! Annoyed that I have to put the blinds up at night...

Unless it becomes an airworthiness issue, you have got no chance because of the cost involved.
Airbus might offer a free replacement but don't hold your breath.
I am sure if you and others within your airline offer to reduce their pay by 10% a year, your company might put those savings to the retrofit.
