B737 Battery Guard Switch

Why does the Battery switch guard has a different shape than other guarded switches?

With all due respect, cannot you ask the people that train you to fly the aircraft, these questions you have asked on this forum.

I can only suspect that the P5-13 is made by a different manufacturer than the rest of the panels, even so its hard to tell the difference between the battery switch and for example the spoiler shutoff switches...

With all due respect, cannot you ask the people that train you to fly the aircraft

(a) potentially they may not know

(b) we wouldn't have this thread and then I wouldn't know .. and that would be sad

(c) IGh's tale has the ring of truth to it ...

(d) we have some Boeing OEM folks in the sand pit so perhaps we might get the definitive answer from that source ?
