Boeing 777, Boeing 787 and Airbus A380 Software.

1. What are the names of the software used in Boeing 777 AIMS, Boeing 787 and Airbus A380? Like Windows, Lynux or Android?

2. What is Blockpoint v16 for B777?

Dear Nitpicker330:

Thanks for replying.

I have been working in the Engineering Dept. of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd. at Dhaka since 1995. I have Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's licences in Avionics for Airbus A310-300, Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 777-300ER. Besides I am a B. Sc. (graduate) in EE(Electrical & Electronics) Engg. I want to know these because of my knack/interest in Electronics and Aviation. Hope that clears the matter.

Haha nitpicker you anonymous internet nobody, that told you.

Haseen, I'm pretty sure it's not windows! The AIMS system was subcontracted to Honeywell, like some other stuff on the 777, the software will be custom built, I don't know in what language, but Ada is often used for safety critical applications, it may be that...

I don't know
It may be that..

None of the above.

Falcon..

from the video..it states (at about 5mins) that the pilot rolls the ac to a 60 degree bank angle...and pulls back on the yoke...
