A320 Autopilot/ Autothrust disconnect

Just out of curiosity, does any airline have a procedure to disconnect AP/ATHR by double clicking Sidestick takeover/ Instinctive disconnect p/b so that CFDS does not show any fault?

?
Why would using the correct disconnect buttons log on the CFDS as a fault? If the AP is force disconnected by s/stick or FCU BUTTON's used for AP or A/THR disconnect that probably would.

Using the normal disconnect switches does not generate fault messages. They generate memos which self cancel after 9 secs. Any other method of disconnecting would generate an ECAM message which has to be processed in the normal way.

Press the instinctive AP disc button on the stick
TWICE to keep the warning off the EWD.

On Airbus, a double click on side stick takeover button is standard with us to disconnect the autopilot - Doing this brings up a master warning.

To disconnect the autothrust, you need to click either button on the thrust levers. Sitting here, I can't remember if this is one or two clicks - I just do it automatically.

Pull the levers back to the TLA then press the button once.

You are correct calling it the sidestick takeover button. I call
it the AP disc button because I'm still Boeing at heart.
