A320 distance prediction on MCDU

hi all a quick question for you

say you are flying a circling approach with prescribed tracks, and you built the procedure in the primary flight plan..when you disconnect and fly manually, if you don t clear the waypoint(s) you have passed already, is the distance shown on the MCDU correct and updated as you fly downiwind/base/final?

If the pasted waypoints are not cleaned and still shown as TO waypoint, they are considered still to be flown. For that it is included in the distance calculation. For that you should always update your TO waypoint. This gives you the closed estimate of distance, time and fuel.

Good luck.
