Q400 Performance Category

Hi Guys,

I was recently discussing the Qantas Link Q400's with a friend.
We got on the topic of performance when we recalled hearing that the QLK Q400's submit Performance Category C. Can some one confirm this?
I looked back at the TERM AU-16 for some criteria and it looks like they could fit into B. If they could but file PER/C, why pick the higher?

It depends if you are heavy, or creeping in lightweight with maximum flaps.

I'd be more curious how the subject of a Quantaslink Q came up at all. Don't y'all have anything more sexy to talk about?
