Airbus GPWS Fault

Hi guys,

I've done a search with no luck. Does anyone know why the ECAM line of GPWS....Off does not go out once you have pressed the appropriate button?

Just curious,

There is no feedback of this action. That is why it stays on.

Thanks for the response. So the system is monitored for faults but not the pushbutton? Does that mean in normal ops, if we select GPWS off there will be no ECAM to tell us? Or would it trigger an ECAM because the system is off, disregarding the pushbutton position?
