BTV is not a cure-all.
True. I guess that

"the potential of reducing runway occupancy time by up to 30 percent"
like any manufacturer's claim, needs to be taken with a pinch of salt

Many people just assume that it is there for, and will be used to, minimise ROT.

One could just as easily see a situation where it is used instead to roll to a further exit than normal for the same ROT as a non-BTV aircraft of the same type.
You need BTV 2.0, where the controller gets to dial in the exit to be used, and the pilot can't do anything about it.

Well, not really. That's a completely accurate statement.

Maybe so, though I'm always suspicious when I see claims of savings (of any sort) that quote neatly rounded percentages, even without the weasel-words "up to".

Out of interest, have you noticed much difference in the braking profiles of EK's A388s at Heathrow, compared to QF, SQ and MH's that don't use BTV ?

One would expect them to be quicker.
