Under what certification regulations (EASA & FAA) does the F27 fall under?
Hi everyone, just a quick question. I am a bit lost in the sea of all the regulations of both FAA and EASA.
Under what certification regulations (EASA & FAA) does the F27 or any similar aircraft fall under? MTOW: 19,773 kg (43,592 lb)
Thanks

Yeah I understand but they must be under a certain regulation. E.g. for gliders and powered gliders, EASA CS22. What is it for transport aircraft which have an MTOW of 19700kg?
Sorry to disagree with HN39 but F27 was certificated long before FAR 25 existed. According to TCDS at http://www.fokkerservices.com/Downloads/FS/Certificates/EASA_TCDS_F27_A.036_1.pdf cert basis is
"U.S. CAR Part 4b effective December 31, 1953, including Amendment 4b-1, Amendment 4b-2 Items 1 and 48, Amendment 4b-3 Items 21 through 33 and Item 39, Amendment 4b-7, Amendment 4b-8 Items 9, 21 and 22, SR-422B effective July 9, 1959, Sections 4T.110 through 4T.123 and 4T.743, and the Special Conditions contained in the Annex to letter from RLD no. LI/13880 dated August 6, 1958."
Hope this helps. Google is your friend!

ozaub,
no disagreement really. Most of this was later 'recodified without substantive change' into FAR 25. Later versions of the F27 had to comply with later amendments. Hence 'or equivalent'.
