B777 Derate Takeoff Calculation by EFB

Hi

When EFB calculates the thrust for a TO2 takeoff with assumed temperature, then does it limit itself to max of 25% reduction from max certified thrust or it does not?

Thanks

Obviously depends on the software, but the AFM permits you to assume 25% from the rating in use and not the max. Hence the reason you use VMCG at the actual temperature and are prohibit from going from D-TO2 to TO.

Thanks Mutt

I was under the impression that 25% was from the max. Do you have a reference regarding this?

Regards
